Overview

Befriending Networks is a charity that boasts the largest network of befriending services in the world. I was commissioned by Design Kind to take on this rebrand project with care and sensitivity.

The client was tentative about changing the logo too much, so on that side of things it was more of a brand evolution, but the supporting visual identity had a complete overhaul with new colours, typography, graphic style and the introduction of illustration to bring it all to life.

Brand application

On completion of the rebrand project, the new assets were rolled out across a whole suite of assets. Templates in Canva were created for social media posts and certificates along with the brand guidelines so that the client could have control over the development of their design collateral.

Word templates were also created for reports and proposal documents along with branded stationery for the team.

​

The designs used both the new graphic style and illustrations together to create friendly and engaging layouts. Working on an A4 print report for their Strategic Plan 2024-29 allowed for a deeper exercise into the best practice for the brand design.

The result

With such a large library of assets to move forward with, Befriending Networks could feel confident in creating new and engaging assets that always feel fresh and exciting. The easy to use templates mean the team have control over when and what they create and the suite of illustrations allow them to put together bold and stand out designs that appeal to their audience.
